What’s changing
Up to now, tips landed on the app whenever a matchday came around. Starting this week, we’re moving to a standing rhythm: every matchday across the leagues we cover gets its own full breakdown, published a few days out so you’ve got time to actually use it before kickoff.
That coverage now spans three competitions:
- The Premier League — every fixture, every matchweek, from opening weekend through to May.
- La Liga — one of the first steps in bringing more of Europe’s major leagues into the app, with more to follow.
- The Betway Premiership (PSL) — full round-by-round coverage of South African football, including midweek fixtures.
Each match comes with a 1X2 pick, an Over/Under 2.5 call, a Both Teams To Score prediction, a suggested correct score, and a risk index from 1 (safe) to 10 (risky) — plus a short write-up explaining the thinking behind it. Most matchdays also come with a suggested accumulator combining the tipster’s strongest picks of the round.
Built on form, not guesswork
Every pick starts with the same question: what actually happened last time out? Before we write a single tip, we pull the real, current results and table context for every team involved — who won, who’s scoring, who’s leaking goals — and build the reasoning from there. Nothing is auto-generated and published without review.
We’ve also cleaned up a few loose ends as part of this rollout: kickoff times across the app now display consistently in South African time (SAST), and past matchdays get their results filled in as soon as the final whistle blows, so you can see how the tips actually performed — not just what we called in advance.
What’s next
More leagues are on the way as we expand what “other major European leagues” means in practice — Serie A, the Bundesliga, and Ligue 1 are the natural next additions. If there’s a competition you’d like to see covered sooner rather than later, we want to hear about it.
