We’re over a week into the 2026 World Cup, and the excitement is gripping the globe, particularly here in Mzansi. Despite Bafana losing on the opening day to Mexico, the quality that we’re seeing from this tournament was worth waiting 4 years for. Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe, and Harry Kane have all lived up to expectations, only heightening the feeling of what’s to come.

While they’re great to watch, you may capitalise while you’re at it with some solid bets for this weekend. I’ve picked out some stand-out fixtures for us to get stuck into. Below, you’ll find various betting options for each fixture, that you could perhaps add to a multi and ramp up your winnings.

PS. Watch out for that multi-boost of up to 1000% that we’ve got especially for you.

Scotland vs Morocco

• Date: 20 June 2026

• Kick-off time: 00:00

• Venue: Gillette Stadium

Scotland made a triumphant return to World Cup football with a 1-0 victory against Haiti. It means that Steve Clarke’s men enter this fixture sitting atop of Group C. They know that victory on Saturday morning will ensure they are into the knockout phase of the competition.

However, they’ve never won 2 matches in a row at a major competition, which opens the door for a Morocco win. The Atlas Lions were great value for their 1-1 draw against Brazil, extending their unbeaten run at World Cup group stage games to 5. The African side have also seen both teams score in 4 of their recent 6 outings.

In terms of crucial players on the day, Achraf Hakimi is the guy that could be the difference. He was immense against Brazil as he created the most chances with 3 for his team. As a playmaking defender, you can never rule him out from making an impact.

Scotland vs Morocco best bets

• 1×2 – Morocco at odds of 1.74

• BTTS – Yes at odds of 2.14

• Achraf Hakimi to score – Yes at odds of 6.40

Brazil vs Haiti

• Date: 20 June 2026

• Kick-off time: 02:30

• Venue: Lincoln Financial Field

It was a disappointing start to the campaign for Brazil, as they shared the spoils with Morocco. But facing Haiti could be just what the doctor ordered. The Selecao are unbeaten in their last 4 matches, winning 3 on the bounce. Meanwhile, Haiti enter this game on the back of 2 consecutive defeats.

However, Les Grenadiers can take advantage of Brazil’s frailty at the back, as they conceded at least once in each of their last 6 games. Haiti recently put 4 past New Zealand in a friendly, while Carlo Ancelotti’s men conceded twice against lowly-ranked Panama. As a result, the Haitians should be confident of getting through Brazil, at least once.

With so many goalscorers on the pitch, it’s difficult to single them out. However, Vinicius Junior already put his hand up when he struck the equalising goal against Morocco. Vini scored 3 goals in his last 4 appearances for both club and country, making him a worthy pick.

Brazil vs Haiti best bets

• Anytime goalscorer – Vinicius Junior at odds of 1.81

• 1×2 & totals – Brazil & over 3.5 goals at odds of 1.77

• BTTS – Yes at odds of 2.25

Netherlands vs Sweden

• Date: 20 June 2026

• Kick-off time: 18:00

• Venue: NRG Stadium

The Netherlands were minutes away from snatching 3 points in their first game, but Japan had other plans and equalised. It means Ronald Koeman’s men must win this all-European clash to ensure they enter the final game inside the top 2. Sweden started with a strong 5-1 thumping of Tunisia, but they don’t typically fare well against UEFA nations.

The Swedes won just 1 of 7 World Cup group games against UEFA teams, losing 4 of those, however, that solitary win arrived on American soil in 1994. The Oranje are unbeaten at World Cups in regulation time since their 2010 defeat to Spain in the final. Additionally, they haven’t kept a clean sheet in each of their last 5 internationals.

Sweden failed to register a clean sheet in any of their last dozen matches. With Alexander Isak bagging a goal and 2 assists against Tunisia, it’s worth backing him to continue that form here.

Netherlands vs Sweden best bets

• 1×2 – Netherlands at odds of 1.71

• BTTS – Yes at odds of 1.82

• Anytime goalscorer – Alexander Isak at odds of 3.30

Germany vs Ivory Coast

The Germans just became the World Cups highest goalscorers ever after their 7 goals against Curacao took them to 239 goal and counting. The Manschaft will know that victory this weekend will ensure they avoid being knocked out at the group stage. But they do have some chinks in their defensive armour.

The Elephants can capitalise on that and hurt the European nation. Germany haven’t kept a clean sheet in their last 7 World Cup matches, but they’ve scored at least 3 in 6 of their last 10 wins. The Ivory Coast are knocking on the door of a first-ever World Cup knockout appearance, and with Curacao to come in their final game, they won’t be too concerned if they don’t win here.

Kai Havertz struck a brace for the Germans in their first outing, which means he’s contributed to 7 goals in his last 5 appearances for both club and country. It took Germany just 6 minutes to open the scoring the last time out, and they could well enter the break against the Elephants in a position of strength.

Germany vs Ivory Coast best bets

BTTS – Yes at odds of 1.74

1st half 1×2 – Germany at odds of 1.98

Anytime goalscorer – Kai Havertz at odds of 2.31

Tunisia vs Japan

• Date: 21 June 2026

• Kick-off time: 06:00

• Venue: Estadio BBVA

Tunisia find themselves bottom of the group after that 5-1 hammering by Sweden. But they will be part of history here as this fixture marks the 1000th World Cup match. The North Africans parted ways with coach Sabri Lamouchi after that opening defeat, with Herve Renard hopping into the hot seat.

The Eagles of Carthage are on a run of just 1 win from 8 matches, while they lost their last 3 matches by an 11-1 aggregate. Japan, meanwhile, won the last 6 head-to-heads, but they have yet to keep a clean sheet at the World Cup after 10 attempts. Interestingly, none of the meetings between these nations saw both teams score.

With 6 of Japan’s last 7 goals arriving after the restart, this one could be a slow burner, only coming to life in the second stanza.

Tunisia vs Japan best bets

• 1×2 – Japan at odds of 1.54

• BTTS – Yes at odds of 2.15

• Halftime/ fulltime – Draw/ Japan at odds of 3.85
