It’s another massive Premier League weekend, and this time Arsenal’s unbeaten run heads into a tricky test at Sunderland. Add Spurs vs Manchester United, Chelsea under the lights and a heavyweight clash between Manchester City and Liverpool, and South African bettors have plenty to unpack.
Tottenham Hotspur vs Manchester United – Saturday, 13:30
Tottenham’s stadium should be a fortress, but lately it’s felt more like a comfortable away trip. Spurs have struggled badly at home over the past year, dropping points and conceding far too often for a team with top-four ambitions.
United, meanwhile, are pure entertainment. They’re not consistent enough to trust in the title race, but they are full of attacking moments and chaos – exactly the kind of team that can enjoy themselves in a loose, open game in north London.
From a betting point of view, trusting either side to win isn’t ideal. Trusting goals for United, however, feels safer.
10bet Verdict: Both teams to score, with United scoring at least twice in what should be an end-to-end clash.
Score prediction: Tottenham 2–2 Manchester United
Everton vs Fulham – Saturday, 16:00
Jack Grealish has changed the mood around Everton completely. He draws fouls, takes defenders on and keeps the game in dangerous areas. Opposition full-backs have been picking up cards trying to stop him, and he’s never far from a flashpoint.
Fulham are physical, clever with their game management and not shy to push the limits in defence. That combination often leads to a busy referee, especially when Grealish gets kicked one too many times.
10bet Verdict: Tight on the scoreboard, but big on battles. Cards and fouls markets around Grealish and his direct marker look very attractive.
Score prediction: Everton 1–1 Fulham
West Ham United vs Burnley – Saturday, 16:00 (SA)
Under Nuno Espírito Santo, West Ham have gone back to basics: solid block, absorb pressure, and explode on the counter. It suits their wide players perfectly – and nobody looks more dangerous in that system right now than Crysencio Summerville.
Against Newcastle he was everywhere: running into space, getting shots away, and looking like the main outlet whenever West Ham broke forward. Burnley won’t park the bus completely, which means there should be room for Summerville to attack again.
10bet Verdict: West Ham to edge it, with Summerville a strong candidate in shots or goalscorer markets.
Score prediction: West Ham 2–1 Burnley
Sunderland vs Arsenal – Saturday, 18:30
Arsenal arrive with a spotless record: clean sheets, wins, control. But football doesn’t let perfection run forever. Streaks end – and the sharp bettors look for the moment when they’re most likely to crack.
Sunderland are organised, physical and excellent defending set pieces. Their goalkeeper Robin Roefs commands his area well, and they don’t give much away from dead balls – usually one of Arsenal’s big weapons.
The Gunners are still favourites on quality, but the spot feels dangerous: high-flying team, hostile away ground, and an opponent that’s difficult to break down.
10bet Verdict: Both teams to score looks a smart entry, with Sunderland a live underdog to “ruin the slip” for many punters.
Score prediction: Sunderland 2–1 Arsenal
Chelsea vs Wolves – Saturday, 21:00
Chelsea matches have quietly turned into card festivals. Their games regularly feature plenty of tackles, arguments and bookings, and Wolves are exactly the type of opponent to drag them into another spicy battle.
There’s also an inexperienced referee in charge, which often means sticking closer to the letter of the law. Fouls that might be “managed” lower down tend to become automatic yellows at this level – especially under the big lights in London.
10bet Verdict: Chelsea to edge the result, but the real value could be in the cards markets: over total cards or specific player bookings.
Score prediction: Chelsea 2–1 Wolves
Aston Villa vs Bournemouth – Sunday, 15:00
Aston Villa are juggling European nights and Premier League intensity, and that workload adds up. Bournemouth, on the other hand, come in fresher and very well drilled under Andoni Iraola.
His side presses aggressively, breaks quickly and doesn’t give you a moment to breathe. Facing that right after a Thursday night in Europe is a brutal assignment for Villa, whose squad still isn’t deep enough to rotate freely without losing quality.
10bet Verdict: Upset alert. Bournemouth on a “draw no bet” style angle appeals, with the Cherries more than capable of catching a heavy-legged Villa.
Score prediction: Aston Villa 1–2 Bournemouth
Brentford vs Newcastle United – Sunday, 15:00 (SA)
Newcastle at home and Newcastle away are two different teams. At St James’ Park they press high and play with swagger. Away from home, the confidence drops and the attacking output shrinks.
The numbers tell the story: a long winless run on the road and very few goals scored during that stretch. Brentford, meanwhile, are always competitive at home, strong at set pieces and smart in how they manage big games.
Seeing Newcastle as favourites in this spot feels generous.
10bet Verdict: Brentford to avoid defeat looks a strong angle, with a home win a real possibility for more adventurous slips.
Score prediction: Brentford 2–1 Newcastle
Crystal Palace vs Brighton – Sunday, 15:00
The M23 derby almost always delivers tension, and this time it comes with Danny Welbeck in red-hot form. Brighton’s front man is playing with confidence, linking play and arriving in the right areas at the right time.
He’s been heavily involved in goals over his last few appearances, and his record against Palace in recent minutes is impressive. In a game that could swing either way, riding the form of an in-shape forward often makes more sense than trying to pick a winner.
10bet Verdict: Goals or assists markets around Welbeck are worth a serious look, with both teams more than capable of finding the net.
Score prediction: Crystal Palace 2–2 Brighton
Nottingham Forest vs Leeds United – Sunday, 15:00
Sean Dyche has wasted no time putting his stamp on Forest. Longer passes, harder pressing in advanced areas, and a much tighter defensive shape. The big change, though, is how few quality chances Forest are now allowing.
Leeds can blow hot and cold in attack, and this doesn’t look like the ideal fixture for them: a well-drilled home defence and a manager obsessed with clean sheets. Forest haven’t had one in ages, and Dyche will be desperate to fix that stat.
10bet Verdict: Forest to keep things tight. “Both teams to score – No” stands out as a strong angle.
Score prediction: Nottingham Forest 1–0 Leeds
Manchester City vs Liverpool – Sunday, 17:30
On paper, this screams goals. In reality, the timing is tricky: it’s straight after the international break, when legs are heavy, travel miles are high and coaches have had very little training time with full squads. Those weekends often produce slower games and fewer chances than the market expects.
Haaland will always attract attention in goalscorer markets, but Liverpool and Virgil van Dijk in particular have handled him reasonably well in past meetings. When that happens, City often lean on other match-winners like Phil Foden.
Still, the bigger edge might be on the goals line.
10bet Verdict: Cagey, tactical and tighter than many slips will predict. Unders on total goals look attractive in such a high-profile, high-pressure fixture.
Score prediction: Manchester City 1–1 Liverpool
