About Spaceman
Spaceman is a crash game that was launched by world-renowned games developer Pragmatic Play in March 2022. Although the brand is better known for releasing top tier slots and vivid live games, they’ve tried their hand here at the popular crash game mechanic and landed a good one.
Open the game and you’ll immediately see the star of the show, the little spaceman himself, in action, either preparing for his flight towards the stars or mid-flight. There are mere seconds between rounds, so you won’t have to wait long to get involved and start profiting from the little guy’s space exploration!
The scene is space, of course, which takes on an attractive purple hue, pin-pointed with a few bright stars and scattered planets, with the occasional shooting stars whizzing by. A flying saucer hovers just above centre, with its tractor beam firmly placed on the little robotic spaceman who’s about to take flight.
The interactive portion of the game screen is located right under the spaceman himself, starting with your betting options. To the left you’ll be able to activate and select your cashout options, while to the right you can track other players’ bets for each round and see when they are cashing out. Under the stake options are the main game buttons, starting with the green Confirm Bet button, which then changes to Cashout and 50% Cashout once the game starts. At the very bottom of the screen is a payout history timeline, so you can see the multipliers of the previous 20 or so games.
When the game begins, you’ll see the spaceman, and the round’s win multiplier, soaring higher as every second passes. At any random moment, the round will finish with the spaceman’s red cape disappearing and his flight coming to an abrupt end, with his ‘fall’ saved by a collection of planet balloons on strings!
How to play Spaceman
Spaceman is one of those games that’s incredibly easy to play, but exceedingly difficult to master due to its nature. The simple aim of the game is to cash out before the spaceman crashes. However, the temptation to hold on for just a little bit longer as those multipliers climb is always there, making for a really engaging experience!
To get started with Spaceman, choose a bet amount that suits your budget from the displayed options and/or use the green arrows to fine-tune your amount. Your total balance is displayed on the far left and your selected bet amount is visible on the far right.
Once you’re happy with your stake, click the green Confirm Bet button to place your bet for the next round. Watch the countdown animation for the round to begin. You can click the Cancel Bet button before the round begins if you change your mind.
When the countdown reaches 0, the spaceman takes off and you’ll notice the Confirm Bet button changes to two green cashout buttons: Cashout and Cashout 50%. As the win multiplier displayed above the spaceman increases, it’s your job to decide when to cash out before the spaceman crashes. Simply hit either cashout button to claim your winnings.
