21 December 2023 – 10bet South Africa is proud to officially announce its partnership with Bafana Bafana legend and one of football’s most revered icons, Doctor Khumalo, who joins the 10bet line-up as their official brand ambassador.
This ground-breaking partnership is inked at an opportune time for 10bet SA, as the official betting partner of the senior men’s national team is priming itself to collectively join hands with the nation and football enthusiasts to rally behind Bafana Bafana ahead of their campaign in the 34th edition of the CAF Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Cote d’Ivoire next month.
Since its arrival in South Africa, as well as other African markets, 10bet has firmly positioned itself as a brand that is passionate about direct consumer and fan engagement, with this announcement being another exciting milestone in its ongoing efforts of engaging consumers.

Doctor Khumalo joins the 10bet line up of renowned sports and lifestyle personalities which include, Thando Thabethe as well as award winning and favoured journalist – Lorenz Kohler & cricket legend Herschelle Gibbs.
‘16V’, as he is affectionally known says joining the 10bet line up presented an exciting opportunity for him to partner with a passionate brand that has consumer engagement at heart, which was needed to get fans to rally behind Bafana Bafana.

Khumalo has also extended his congratulations to the first recipients of the 10bet Gear-Up Ikasi kit handover; Zone 14 F.C. The Chiawelo-based community football team received an array of sports equipment at a handover ceremony held at on Thursday morning at their local playing grounds.
This was the first of ten (10) kit handovers that will be conducted by 10bet SA in a period of 10-months across selected Gauteng townships. The Gear-Up Ikasi initiative is part of 10bet SA’s continued efforts and commitment to make a significant impact on community soccer and netball teams that are in dire need of essential sports equipment.
